News From The Richland Water Authority

The Authority will increase rates effective July 1, 2015. The usage charge will increase to $7.02 per thousand gallons compared to the $5.57/thousand currently charged. The flat rate which is determined by meter size will remain the same. For most residential installations, the flat rate is $27.00 per quarter.

The rate increase is necessary because West View is raising the rate it charges the Authority approximately 31.4%, and the operating costs of the system are also increasing.

For a residential customer who uses 15,000 gallons of water per quarter, the bill will total $132.30 compared to the $110.55 currently charged. Please contact the Authority office if you have questions on your bill.

A complete rate schedule for the 5/8" meter is located under the Forms and Publications heading.
